Eva-Maria Unglaube (*1988) started her academic career in social sciences and art history at Friedrich-Alexander Universität in Nürnberg-Erlangen before moving to Berlin to study illustration at the BTK - Hochschule für Gestaltung. In 2022 she graduated from Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee under the mentorship of Kyung-hwa Choi-ahoi with a degree in Visual Communication. 

Her main focus is directed towards drawing and experimental painting techniques. Her process-oriented examination of different materials deals with topics such as memory and forgetting, dissolution and reconstruction. In addition to being an art educator she holds a part-time job at a funeral home in Berlin.
